Make Love Not War with your Body
How many of us really treat our bodies with the respect and love it deserves. I don’t think we were taught to treat our bodies in a kind and gentle manner. In order to preserve our vitality it is important to create an intimate relationship with your body. You might say, “Now what the heck does that mean?” Well simply connecting with your body in a way that shows reverence for all the hard work it does for you. Our bodies are the holders of our spirit and carry us through this life. We can either treat it like a rental car or like a temple that is holding our spirit. I prefer the second option. It has taken a lifetime for me to really connect with my body and treat it kindly. To not criticize it for having to big of a size in this area or too small of a size in that area and so on. It also takes a level of commitment to take time to create an intimate relationship with your body because our minds will get in the way. When the mind is busy, which it usually is, it is hard to listen to the body. But our bodies want you to feel into it. Moving the body helps us to get out of our mind and into our bodies. When you are in your body… you are in the present moment and most of us don’t even know what that feels like. We spend most of our time up in our heads with busy mind chatter. If you want to have a taste of getting out of your mind and into your body so that you can listen to and free yourself of a bit of mind chatter, try my shake out on my website. www.annathea.org
It is silly and it is fun and it will give you a taste of creating a relationship with your body.

Be there for YOU!
Women are so busy doing things for others. They are mothers, wives, career women and more. Life can get pretty complex at times. What can you do as a woman to stay in the present moment with all of these repsonsibilities and commitments. I have a simple exercise that will keep you connected to you and bring you back to the present moment. How often do you touch your heart? How often do you take a breath and smell the roses so to speak? Women are the nurturers. When do you take time to nurture you? I am not talking about a new haircut, manicure or facial. Those are all good, don’t get me wrong. I am just talking about taking a moment to really feel into your heart and reassure yourself that everything is ok. As silly as that sounds, I believe women would benefit greatly from that statement and breathe that into their hearts and just let go and trust in the process… even when they believe everything is too much. Or even especially when they believe everything is too much. This exercise is nurturing to your soul. Just take a moment and place your hands on that area just above your heart. It is the area of your thymus which is the master gland of your immune system. The immune system is our defense system that keeps invading bacteria and viruses out and on another level just plain keeps our defenses up and keeps us protected. So we want to acknowledge our thymus for all of it’s hard work, day in and day out. Place your hands, one on top of the other, over your thymus and feel the warmth of your hands sending healing energy into your thymus. Take a moment to breathe deeply into that master gland and really acknowleding it. This may sound silly however your thymus will absolutely love you taking time out to give it warmth. It doesn’t take long and if you do this and it is habit forming… what a great habit. They thymus is part of the endocrine sytsem and the endocrine system is part of what keeps our hormones balanced and working at optimal levels. Hormones are huge in keeping us healthy emotionally. So when I coach women, spiritual coaching of women… this is one tool that they can’t do without. Treat your thymus with tender loving care and you will see how much feminine strength you will develop.

Communicating from your Heart
Are you communicating from your heart or from your head? During a conflict or misundestanding if you are using a lot of “you” in the conversation then you are most likely not communicating from your heart. Saying something like, “you always treat me like that….” or “I can’t stand when you do that.” All of that type of language is just giving your energy and power away and keeping you from feeling your feelings. I remember when I first started using heart centered communication and I told my boyfriend at the time….. stop “youing” me. He said, I am not “youing” you, you are “youing” me. Then we said with a smile, I will stop “youing” you if you stop “youing” me….ok.
Well maybe all of this doesn’t make sense…… there is more to the explanation… bottom line,,,, keep your energy, know what you need and know what you feel. Don’t make judgements or opinions. Communication from the heart does not put your reality on another. It just expresses with sincerity what you are feeling and what you need. More to come on this subject.
Heart centered communication is what I cover when coaching women. As a personal coach for women I see how important it is to have the knowledge of this tool for communcation.

The New Woman – Phase I Disarmament
The New Woman – Phase I Disarmament
By Anna-Thea
What will the New Woman be like? The woman of 2020? How will she act, how will she feel? What types of relationships will she have? How will she interact with other women? How will she interact with men?
I believe men and women were originally designed to be magically complimentary to each other and not opposing of each other, which is what has all too often happened, leaving all of us, both sexes, feeling isolated, separate and alone.
The masculine in us is designed to challenge us to the next level and the feminine in us is designed to support and nurture us to the next level. Since the last 4 thousand or more years has been a predominantly masculine expression of humanity, as women and even men, being birthed into and brought up in this more masculine expression of society, we have had to armor our precious feminine side. Men and women alike have had to armor their feminine side in this all too often harsh world and that precious feminine side is the side that gives life, support and nurturing to ourselves and the world. We have been releasing the armor and now we are all being called to release those last fragments of armor and really let love in. The armor, though it may have worked in the past, is no longer working and we are all being called to a deeper level of love.
I believe this final shift will come from the feminine because it is through the feminine form that new life is brought out into the world.
When I coach women I help them release their armor. It is a beautiful journey of compassion and ultimately one of self acceptance that starts with the body and changing the relationship a woman has with it. It is not something to be criticized or judged. It is perfect just the way it is, honor it, cherish it, take good care of it, speak well of it and to it. Too many of us treat our bodies like a rental car instead of for what it really is a beautiful temple of the divine holding great wisdom. My coaching for women involves having them understand that their body is perfect just the way. No matter how big or small or what shape or size I coach women on “remembering” that their body was specifically and perfectly designed for them as their school room to teach them great things … if they have the courage to listen. So my coaching for women involves helping them listen to their bodies instead of their heads.
As women learn to feel good in and about their bodies they develop feminine confidence and feminine strength. This in turn helps a woman create a deeper relationship with her partner. These are what I call “The New Women” who are now being called into a new way of living and a new way of loving. The New Women are the ones paving the way for a healthier way of living and loving and are being called to release the armor so that they can really let love in.
Our armor is there due to past emotional trauma, wearing it in an effort to keep us safe and now is the time to release it. Thinking it will keep us safe, it has also kept us numb and disconnected from our bodies and thus from our wisdom. In an effort to keep the bad things out we have blocked our ability to let the good things in. This has blocked us from deeper levels of love and intimacy. It has cut us off from our feeling center, but feelings don’t go away they just come out sideways resulting in depression, disease, being over emotional or even being called a nag. It is time to give yourself a safe place to feel those feelings and let them out where they can be transformed.
WOMEN’S WISDOM & MOVEMENT is a coaching process of disarmament.
It involves breath, movement, sound, psychology, yoga, dance, wise nutrition, nurturing and more and allows a woman to soften her armor. The process teaches women how to shed their armor or at least become aware of it and the behavior that causes it to exist. The advantage of this process is that it gives a woman a safe place to feel instead of having to numb out. She learns to feel her feelings instead of fearing them, allowing them to be a source of wisdom for her own personal development and to create healthier happier relationships in her life.
Imagine a process that helps women soften their armor, lets love in and helps women to create healthier happier relationships in her life. Might this be a process, if you want to be “The New Woman” be something worth learning? Women’s Wisdom & Movement is part of a program designed to help women become that New Woman, centered in her heart and grounded in her feminine strength and confidence.
My one on one coaching for women, which is done via phone will give you the support, guidance and tools that you need to open your heart and live a more fulfilled life.
